For over 35 years the independent, owner-managed Stern-Wywiol Gruppe with its headquarters in Hamburg has been among the successful enterprises operating internationally in the world of Food and Feed Ingredients. The eleven specialist firms that make up the Stern-Wywiol enterprise produce a wide range of functional systems for food and animal nutrition. In the food sector the focus is on enzymes, stabilizing systems, flour improvers, baking ingredients, lecithins, MCT oils, vitamin and mineral premixes, chocolate pieces and natural flavourings. The Stern-Wywiol Gruppe also operates in the fields of contract manufacturing and food supplements. All the firms’ activities revolve around applications research at the modern Technology Centre in Ahrensburg, near Hamburg, where each of the specialist firms has access to the pooled knowledge and skills of the whole group through a network of excellence.
